General : GENERAL VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION
Volunteer General OrientationAre you looking to volunteer at the New Haven Animal Shelter?
On August 24, 2008 we will be having a general orientation for anyone who wants to be a volunteer. The orientation will start at 10:30 a.m. at the New Haven Animal Shelter on Fournier street. The orientation is approximately 1.5 hours long. This is a general orientation. You need to attend a cat orientation to work with the cats. You need to be assigned a mentor (who will train you) to work with the dogs. Dog training will start a week or two after you have attended the general orientation.
Please come to the shelter (81 Fournier Street) on August 24th at 10:30 a.m. if you are interested in becoming a volunteer. No reservation needed. Just show up! You must be 18 years of age to volunteer.
